There are several important steps that you must follow if you are going to have long term success in this venture. Please follow our instructions carefully.

You will need to select and register a domain name. If you don’t have a name in mind, we can help you select a domain name. The key to selecting a good domain is to have a “keyword rich” name. That means a name that is appropriate to the niche you are marketing to, and contains terms that your targeted customer would use to search for your products.
For instance, if you sell baby strollers you may consider names like:bestbabystrollers; safebabystrollers; twinbabystrollers; cheapbabystrollers; discountbabystrollers; girlbabystrollers,boybabystrollers; usedbabystrollers; umbrellababystrollers; buybabystroller; babystrollersonline, comfortablebabystroller; convertiblebabystroller.
We can help you with the selection process if you like. We will use a tool that tells us many of the top searched for keywords in your niche, and then add some modifiers (best, cheapest, online, etc.), and then we can generate a list of available domain names. From that list you can decide on a name you like.
If your market is mainly in the United States, you only want to consider .com, .net, or .org domains. While the pricing on a .info domain is attractive, they are seen as “Spammer” names and do not rank well in the search engines.
A good keyword rich domain name also has an appreciating value, and there is a big market for aged domain names. We recently sold a 9 year old domain name for $10,000.
Selecting a domain name is an important step and often determines how well your site does in the search engines and how much money you are able to make.

2. HOSTING
Every domain requires hosting. Think of it as rent for your new storefront (your website). Your web host will allocate space on a Server for your domain. The actual space is identified by an address, known as an IP (Internet Protocol) address, but we will also associate your domain name with your IP address (Update your Nameservers). This way people can locate your store by using your store’s name, instead of its numerical address.
Hosting can run from the simple to the very elaborate. Slower servers clearly “serve” web pages slower than others, and some servers have a reputation for being unreliable. For your website, you will need a reliable server, with up-to-date software that is capable of running all the features of your website, at a low price point.

The minimum server package will be fine for your website, and will keep your expenses low. The cost is $8.95 mo or $5.50 mo if you pay annually and use the coupon below.
